We had an absolutely wonderful ski vacation! The home at 112 Skiway Circle is on the "50 yard line" of the slopes. The views of the slopes and the convenience of being slope-side were both fantastic. And the home itself is wonderfully layed out to accomodate a group of skiers. The home is well-equipped, warm and inviting. We definitely felt at home. Thanks for helping us have a great trip!

We can't begin to tell you how great it was to be able to have everyone stay at your chalet during this most special time. The wedding was wonderful at Eagles Nest and your place was just a perfect place for the bridal luncheon! We loved it and would love to plan a trip for the winter. After Shepherding 65 students for two weeks at the school of Scottish Arts - our weekend here -- to recuperate -- has been pure heaven. We love your chalet, and hope to be back again soon. We had a wonderful time. Everything was great: the house, the weather...we would not have changed anything. The kids and adults had a great time sledding in front of the house. House is huge. Views are breath taking. Floor to ceiling picture window panels in great room/living area. Stayed here in 2007 during a family reunion (June). Not the first bug. Not even a fly. Kitchen area is without a doubt best one I've ever used. We had three(3) people cooking at the same time. This house IS on the top of the mountain. Get up early(7am) and watch the rabbits eat breakfast in the yard. Some the activities our family did: White Water rafting, Singing on the Mountain(gospel) on Grandfather Mtn. Fosco Gem Mine (great for the kids, and young at heart). Tweetsie RR. Mast General Store. And just sitting on the huge decks, and picking and grinning. Have another family reunion this summer (2011). We will be contacting to stay again!

The house was perfect and everyone really enjoyed it.

You have a great media system. We did a live video conference on the big screen with a missionary in Africa. It was really great. You have a great place there. It worked great for our group. Thanks for letting us use your place.

Freezing! - Some Snow, Windy, Brrr! All the boys went fishing. All the girls hung out at the cabin. Chilled, watched movies, Lots of R&R. Kids had a blast fishing. We love the cabin - AWESOME View!

"Our extended family (ages 2 - 65) rented both properties in December and had just a truly memorable vacation time. Throughout the whole process, the owner of the properties gave tremendous customer service to us, which was SO valuable when dealing with extended family! We encountered several last-minute changes (thanks to a beautiful but massive snow storm that hit right before we arrived) and, through it all, they worked with us in a fair and professional manner. The property was in great shape and met all of our needs, which were plenty (see age range above!)!!!! Through it all we had a very special holiday that we hope to replicate in the near future. Yes, if available, we will definately be back!"

My son said that he felt more comfortable in your house than any house he's ever been in. My son doesn't say things like that.

I wanted to let you know that Deer Run was absolutely gorgeous and just the very perfect place to have our mini vacation! We enjoyed skiing at Appalachian Mountain Ski Resort and loved the views from Grandfather Mountain, both of which were in close driving distance of Deer Run. The home itself is lovely--it is very tastefully decorated, the furniture was extremely comfortable, the beds were heavenly, the game room was a blessing for our teenage boys, and the kitchen was very well equipped. I can't say enough great things about the place. I would not change a single thing there! Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to spend a very relaxing couple days in the mountains of North Carolina in an absolutely wonderful home! I wish you all the best in 2012!

Be sure that the pictures do not lie!!! Pictures of this home are awesome but it is so much better in person! You feel like you are home right when you walk through the door! Extremely inviting and warm atmosphere. Plenty of room with room to spare. Our experience with this home from the moment that I reserved this home to the time that I departed today could be the BEST experience that I have ever had when traveling! Exceeded my expectations and would certainly stay at this home again. It is convenient to all that we wanted to do....had all of the things we wanted to enjoy when we weren't out exploring or on the slopes (the hot tub was awesome while watcing the snow come down)! Can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!!!!!

"For the last two years, I have rented out both of these home for a ski trip group of 15 people. Both the cabins are beautiful, relaxing, and incredibly well kept. There in an indoor hot tub in the larger home, the Greenhouse, that is so nice to sit in after a long day on the slopes as well as the outdoor hot tub in the smaller cabin, the Penthouse. Together, the cabins easily fit all 15 people comfortably and were absolutely fantastic to stay in. Both these homes would be perfect for anything from a romantic getaway or a large ski trip. I cannot say enough wonderful things about these homes. There is no where else I would consider renting besides these two homes when I visit Beech Mountain."

We recently stayed at the Greenhouse during the "Christmas Blizzard" of 2010. The house was the perfect size for 2 families with kids and the proximity to Ski Beech was great. Just a 5 minute drive, even in the snow, to the base of the mountain. The hot tub was a welcome treat after being out on the slopes all day. The driveway and street leading to the house were also fantastic for the kids to sled--there was virtually no traffic by the house the entire time we were there. Do be sure you have a 4 wheel drive or chains on your tires during the winter; Beech Mountain can get ALOT of snow! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to be back soon.
